Airborne platforms constrain antenna design in ways that commercial applications never do: weight budgets measured in grams, aerodynamic envelopes that rule out tall radomes, vibration profiles that stress mechanical joints, and EMC environments crowded with onboard radios. GNSource aviation antennas are engineered from the signal chain outward for these constraints — compact multi-arm helical elements, conformal or low-profile housings, and integrated filtering to reject in-band and adjacent-band interference.
Strip-shaped TDXL-GA04 and circular TDXL-GA05 anchor the aviation line at around 240 g, while lightweight LCA-series models drop below 120 g with the same multi-constellation coverage. For missile-borne and launch-survivable applications, the TDXL-DZ2001 delivers dual-band BDS B1 + GPS L1 reception in a 52 × 39 × 10.5 mm conformal package. Integrated Tx/Rx variants (GA04D, GA05D) combine navigation reception with BDS short-message transmission through a single one-line feed.
Every airborne model is IP67, operates from -40 °C to +85 °C, and can be delivered in army-green or customer-specified RAL colors. The TDXL-LCA600 packs full-constellation, full-band GNSS reception into a 120-gram, 59 mm-diameter circular package designed specifically for unmanned aerial systems with strict mass and envelope budgets. Multi-feed microwave composite construction delivers right-handed circular polarization and a stable ±5 mm phase center across BDS, GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo — including L5 and Galileo E5a/E5b bands.
