Our Story

Founded on a focused mission — 2017

GNSource was founded in 2017 in Shenzhen, China, with a focused mission: design and manufacture GNSS antenna systems that meet the performance demands of the world's most challenging positioning, navigation, and timing applications.

From our first multi-arm helical antennas to today's 32-element adaptive CRPA arrays, we have built a product portfolio spanning over 80 models across frequencies from VHF to W-band. Our engineering team brings deep expertise in microstrip array design, helical antenna optimization, and adaptive beamforming algorithms.

Today, GNSource serves defense integrators, UAV manufacturers, surveying equipment OEMs, telecom infrastructure providers, and autonomous vehicle developers across domestic and international markets.

FAQ

About GNSource — FAQs

Company background, certifications, patents, manufacturing model, and international service capability.

When was GNSource founded and where is the company based?

GNSource was founded in February 2017 in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. We design and manufacture GNSS antenna systems in-house, with engineering, RF integration, assembly, and environmental testing all performed at our Shenzhen facility.

What certifications does GNSource hold?

GJB 9001C-2017 military quality management system certification and National High-Tech Enterprise designation from the Chinese government. Additional certifications (including ISO 9001 for international commercial markets) can be pursued on customer or market request.

How many patents and proprietary technologies does GNSource have?

12+ utility model patents covering multi-arm helical, coupling-fed, air-microstrip, 3D choke ring, helmet-mounted, rotatable spiral, and multi-satellite integrated transceiver antenna architectures. 6+ software copyrights cover anti-jamming network control, multi-functional short-message combined antenna systems, satellite full-band signal processing, and engineering surveying control systems.

Does GNSource serve international markets?

Yes. GNSource supplies customers globally, with export-control screening for defense-grade products. English-language technical support and documentation are standard. Direct shipping, regional distributor partnerships, and custom OEM arrangements are all available — the right fulfillment model depends on product category and destination.

Does GNSource manufacture in-house, or outsource production?

Vertically integrated in-house. Antenna design, RF circuit integration, assembly, and environmental testing are all performed at our Shenzhen facility — no outsourced critical processes. This gives us direct control over quality, lead time, and traceability across the product lifecycle.
